About Us
Company Overview...
Begun in 1975 as an idea to back the multicultural
needs of our society, Insegna has grown to become
a major player in supporting the teaching of over
thirty languages. We serve schools, libraries and
institutions with material directly related to foster
an understanding of all countries and all cultures.
We import such material from all over the world and
keep a close check on what is available in the market
place to keep abreast of new publications.
Whenever possible we encourage the publication and
use of locally produced materials in the teaching
of these languages within Australia and promote exports
of our products.

Mission Statement...
The availability of the necessary links to foster
knowledge and skills will help propel Australia into t
he world stage with more than its usual vigour.
And the provision of multicultural resources to members
of the wider community must be seen as essential to this
process of cultural expansion.

Insegna is therefore proud of its work over a quarter
of a century and ready to meet those challenges that
are needed to upgrade the stock holdings of libraries,
schools and institutions that value our governments'
commitment to multicultural policies.
We attend numerous professional development occasions
to display suitable material to teachers to help them
coordinate and enrich their curriculum programs.
The work that Insegna does is appreciated and valued
and it is also the source of much satisfaction for
those who help with its day to day operations.

involved in the difficult and often unrecognised
task of trying to teach young people and adults to
enlarge their visions beyond their immediate environment.
